About the speakers
Dan Bloom was part of the inaugural class of Venture for America - a program that placed young professionals in startups around the country (he moved to Cincinnati, OH). He worked at startups for a few years before he co-founded a creative agency, based out of Detroit, MI. Producing content for customers over a few years opened Dan's eyes to the challenges of Marketing and Creative teams trying to collaborate on their work, which led to the creation of Slope. Slope was a work management tool for marketing and creative teams, combining project management and content collaboration into one easy-to-use tool. In January 2019, Slope was acquired by Smartsheet Inc.
Now at Smartsheet, Dan is the Director of Strategic Solutions, overseeing a team of specialists to support the sales team in bringing our high value solutions to our customers. Mostly, Dan is focused on Smartsheet for Marketing - helping to define the story and value prop, highlighting best practices, identifying common use cases, supporting the sales team in customer engagements, and helping to develop Smartsheet solutions that marketers and creatives will love. He's been living and breathing marketing work management for over seven years and is excited to help Smartsheet grow this part of its business.
