What is customer journey mapping?
A customer journey map visualizes your customer’s experience with your brand, typically from the awareness stage to the loyalty and advocacy stage. Each step of the journey has its own needs, wants, and feelings, and it is your responsibility as a brand to address them. Being able to map your customers’ journey helps everyone better empathize with customers and, in turn, create a better experience for them.

Templates can help you create consistency for the entire process of creating a customer journey map. And, of course, we’ll provide one for you in the course. You’ll be able to:
-
List the different categories you’ll want information about
-
Interview your customer and take notes about their experiences with your product
-
Gather the same information from each customer.
Synthesis
After you interview your customer, you can organize your findings and ideate possible solutions in Lucidspark. The template will help you gain insights as you complete this process, and you can add sticky notes, vote on possible features, and even brainstorm solutions, all in-app.
-
Compare possible solutions with your template/journey map and decide what best addresses the customer's points.
-
Confidently move forward with a decision, knowing you’ve done your due diligence to provide your customers with a positive experience.
