Lucid for VS Code - Lucid integration - Bring Lucid into your IDE, reducing context switching as you understand and build.

Overview

Visual Studio Code (VS Code), Microsoft’s free source code editor, offers AI agents that can build for you.
With this extension, you can create, preview, and edit Lucid diagrams without leaving VS Code. Every diagram you touch is backed by a real Lucid document, not a disposable export, so it stays durable, collaborative, and governed the same way the rest of your Lucid content is.
Generate or open a diagram right in your editor, make quick in-line edits, and save the result into your repository. Saving produces both a PNG and a linked reference file that reopens in the IDE or the browser—so diagrams travel with your code, stay reviewable in the same pull request flow, and remain readable by AI coding agents as architecture context. This integration works with any repo you have open in VS Code.

This integration is a Non-Lucid Application (as defined in the Lucid Software Terms of Service), and is developed and maintained by a third party.
