When it comes to visual collaboration, Lucid has always been ahead of its time.

Lucidchart—our intelligent diagramming application—hit the market in 2010, a full decade before the COVID-19 pandemic made remote collaboration a necessity. It was as if Lucid founders Karl Sun and Ben Dilts had a crystal ball—in hand with a Blackberry, no doubt—in which they could see that the future of work was flexible, hybrid, and complex.

Lucidspark’s launch in 2020 has supported this new way of working even more by providing the flexible whiteboarding solution teams need to ideate, work together, and plan projects. And with the combination of both Lucidchart and Lucidspark, organizations can collaborate, stay aligned, and work efficiently across the entire project lifecycle—from idea to execution.

Visual collaboration has since boomed in popularity as more organizations realize the key role it plays in reaching their strategic goals (be that enabling hybrid work, developing new products, or leading digital transformation).

Lucid has certainly paved the way for many emerging collaboration tools, popping in and out of the market as fast as sneaker trends in high school. But even with the plethora of options now available for visual collaboration, Lucid has more users worldwide than any other visual collaboration tool.

Lucid’s rankings on G2’s Annual Best Software Awards

G2’s Annual Best Software Awards ranks the world’s best software companies and products based on authentic, timely reviews from real users. By using G2’s proprietary algorithm, 30 different lists are generated based on G2’s verified user reviews and publicly available market presence data.

To be included in one of the lists, a software company or product must receive at least 50 approved and published reviews during the 2022 calendar year. Scores reflect only data from reviews submitted during this evaluation period.
