Learning resources

Are there learning resources available for the Lucid Suite?
Upon receiving the Lucid Suite license, a series of emails will be sent to each of your users providing them with curated content to help them get started. Additionally, Lucid Training Labs and the Lucid Help Center are great resources for your teams to learn even more about the Lucid Suite.

License management

Will this impact my existing licensed users?
End users will have access to the Lucid Suite (both Lucidchart and Lucidspark).

Will my users be notified?
Yes. All licensed users will be sent an email the day of the move, notifying them that they now have access to the Lucid Suite license.

How will this change the way licenses are granted?
Granting licenses just got easier. To give users access to both Lucidchart and Lucidspark, you simply need to grant them Lucid Suite licenses.

If you manage licenses via SCIM: In order to remove a license from a user, we recommend that a “FALSE” value be sent to both the Lucidchart and Lucidspark canEdit attributes. If you use Okta, OneLogin, or Azure, please be sure to follow the specific recommendations for adjusting your setup.

What if we have a custom request dialog set up?
If you use a custom message in the license request dialog box, we recommend changing it to mention the Lucid Suite rather than a specific product to avoid confusion. If you have this listed in any other internal documentation (company wiki, product listing, etc.), we recommend updating that messaging to reflect the new Lucid Suite license.

Will anything change with my SSO or identity provider?
No. These settings will remain the same.

Will Lucidscale be included in the Lucid Suite?
No. Lucidscale will remain separate and will not be included as part of the Lucid Suite.

Admin settings and permissions

What will happen with collaboration settings?
Nothing! Collaboration settings will continue to be managed separately for Lucidchart and Lucidspark.

Will the move affect any of my current integrations?
No, any integrations that you have enabled will not be affected. Integrations will continue to be managed separately for Lucidchart and Lucidspark.

Which integrations are available for the Lucid Suite?
Keep your team’s work in one place by connecting Lucidchart and Lucidspark with the tools you already use. The following integrations are available for both products but will need to be enabled separately: Confluence, Google Drive, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Slack. For a complete list of all available integrations, please see Lucidchart integrations and Lucidspark integrations.

How will usage data be presented as part of this move?
Usage data will change from product-specific to suite-wide. This means that the usage data you’re used to seeing will still be accessible, but it will apply to the entire Lucid Suite rather than Lucidchart or Lucidspark individually. You will still be able to see usage data in the product and download CSV reports.

What does this move mean for admin permissions (Team, Group, Billing, etc.)?
Each admin role will keep the same permissions. Admins with licensing capabilities will now provide Lucid Suite licenses rather than for Lucidchart and/or Lucidspark separately.
